When Mr. Gadkari said, that in the next 5 years India will become the number one hub for manufacturing electric buses, cars and two-wheelers, he said it with a vision.

The massive speed with which the EV industry is booming is soaring all the heights.

goEgo Network is India's first Electric Vehicle Charging Network that brings the most efficient EV chargers for you to use when you are home, at work or traveling to your favorite weekend getaway destination.

Today, 80 percent of electric vehicles are charged at homes and offices; however, this form of charging is slow because it typically takes eight hours for a full charge.

As many as 1,000 e-vehicles were registered in Pimpri Chinchwad in 2020. There has been an increase of more than 90% in the registration of e-vehicles in 2020 when compared to 2019 whereas Pune has seen an increase by 45%. This we are right now talking only about our hub city.

According to the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles (SMEV), the registration of high-speed electric two-wheelers (E-2W) stood at 2,544 units in September 2020, a 72% year-on-year increase compared to 1,473 units sold in the same month last year.

“We are experiencing huge consumer interest in greener vehicles as they have seen how the environment looks like when no fuel-guzzling vehicles are running on roads. The upcoming festive season will add to the pent-up demand and help original equipment manufacturers to recover what they lost in the first and second quarter due to the COVID-19 lockdown,” said Sohinder Gill, Director General of SMEV.

Hence, the demand for an EV charger has been colossal!
